About Enrichment

Enrichment allows you to import company and contact information from your integrated marketing automation platform to enrich Uberflip data.

This information is displayed in the form of dashboards in the Uberflip platform, allowing marketers to discover what content is being viewed and by which buyer contact or organization. It also allows marketers to make inferences on similar organizations and industries interested in a specific kind of content.

The inferred details can then be used to make better content strategy decisions and Account Based Marketing (ABM) decisions to impact your organization’s growth.

How to configure Enrichment

Once the Marketo integration is set up in the Uberflip platform, implement the following steps to configure Enrichment:

  1. Login to your Uberflip account and click on Account Settings in the drop down list on the top right.
  2. In the sidebar menu, click on Integration and then click on Enrichment.
  3. On the right, you’ll see a list of data sources.
  4. Find Marketo in the list and click on the Edit (pencil) button on the right.mceclip4.png

Settings

Integration Data Import - Click on the Data Import switch to change it to the on (green) position. Turning this toggle on or off allows your organization to gain control over any privacy concerns and control if they want imported Marketo person records to flow through and enrich mapped fields in Uberflip. After turning the switch on, the data import process will take several hours to complete.

To review errors and see details activity logs, click on Data Import Activity (highlighted in red). After clicking on this, the Errors tab displays a list of Marketo Error Codes along with the date and time these errors were reported. The Import Summary tab displays a history of the number of person records imported from Marketo into Uberflip, number of existing person records updated, number of defined mapped fields and number of default system fields. The date and time of the last successful import is also displayed. Both these tabs help users confirm if the last import was successful.mceclip4.png

Remove Enrichment Data – Click on the Remove Data button to remove imported Enrichment Marketo data from Uberflip’s system. This button provides you with the direct control to pull data from Uberflip. After clicking the button, Marketo data will be removed from Uberflip’s system within 4 hours. To stop data from being imported again, please ensure that the Data Import switch is turned off before clicking on the Remove Data button.

You can click on User Activity (highlighted in red) to view Enrichment data removal requests.mceclip2.png

Field Mapping

To import data from your Marketing Automation Platform, Uberflip's Looker requires a specific data model to input the Marketo data and process it to provide various data visualizations on the Uberflip platform. Hence, to help Uberflip understand how to process your data, you need to create a mapping that associates MAP data model fields with Uberflip data model fields.

The Enrichment Field column displays a standard set of fields from Looker for a company account record. Enter the field names in the Marketo Field column. Field name suggestions will appear as you attempt to fill them out. Once the Marketo Field name is entered, the grey paper clip sign on the left turns red to indicate the fields names have been successfully mapped. To delete a field mapping, click on the cross symbol (x) on the extreme right to delete your entry.

Once the field mappings are completed, please ensure that the Data Import switch in the Settings tab is turned on (green) to allow Marketo person records to flow through and enrich mapped fields in Uberflip.
