What it is

Form CTA Engagement are KPIs for understanding how visitors interact with forms, generally utilized for lead collection.

Value

Depending on use, Form CTAs can be your primary KPI, especially if used for lead collection.  It is important to track if visitors saw your forms, which activated them and then subsequently which actually submitted the form.

Google Analytics Equivalent

Tracking CTA interactions would require custom events to be set up.

 

Form CTA Activations

Data Type: Calculated 

Description: A sum of the number of times a Form CTA was clicked-into to access the actual form. 

 

Form CTA Convert Rate

Data Type: Calculated

Description: A percentage average of instances where a Form CTA had an Impression that subsequently led to a Form CTA Submission.   

 

Form CTA Impression

Data Type: Count

Description: A sum of the number of times a Form CTA was viewed  50% on screen for at least 1 second. 

 

Form CTA Submission

Data Type: Count

Description: A sum of the number of times a Form CTA was successfully filled out and delivered.

 

Gated Form CTA Convert Rate

Data Type: Calculated 

Description: A percentage average of instances where a Gated Form CTA (one that blocks access to content) had an Impression that subsequently led to a Form CTA Submission.   

 

Gated Form CTA Impressions

Data Type: Calculated 

Description: A sum of the number of times a Gated Form CTA (one that blocks access to content) was viewed  50% on screen for at least 1 second. 

 

Gated Form CTA Submission

Data Type: Count

Description: A sum of the number of times a Gated Form CTA (one that blocks access to content) was successfully filled out and delivered.
