Supported URL types

This part is easy!

Just grab the URL from the address bar of your browser while on the video page of your host site. Or click the Share button, usually found near the video on the video page, and use that URL.

The Video URL field in Uberflip Pages also accepts the embed URL found in a video embed code.

URL Examples:

From address bar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9YkoTLIN04
From Share button: https://youtu.be/u9YkoTLIN04?si=PZNY3VL7IGSzFuOE
From embed code: https://www.youtube.com/embed/u9YkoTLIN04?si=PZNY3VL7IGSzFuOE

All of these URLs are for the same video, and will all work in Uberflip Pages.

Add a video to your page

  1. In Pages, open the page you want to embed the video on
  2. Click the + icon to open the elements sidebar
  3. Select Components, then find the Video component and drag it onto your page
  4. With the video component added/selected on the page, the video properties will open in the Properties panel.
  5. In the Video URL field, enter the URL for your hosted video

Note: Your URL may change slightly after it’s entered into the Video URL field. This is normal and is just done to ensure we have the right URL format.

That’s it! Your video is now embedded in the page.

You can move the video around the page as you would any other component without breaking anything.
